- The Comox Air Force Museum has received a Labrador Helicopter for its Heritage Air Park. The Lab arrived in two sections from Borden during December 2009. The helicopter will need to be assembled before it can be displayed in the Air Park.

- The Dakota control services are being skinned with fabric at this time. Date of installation is still to be determined, but we hope everything will be completed by the summer of 2010.

- The Museum has installed a number of new exhibits over the past couple of months. Come in and see the changes. The lates exhibit updates took place in the second week of December 2009.

- Restoration work continues on the 1943 GMC truck. We forecast that this truck will be ready for the Cumberland, Courtenay and Comox parades in 2010.

- The Comox Valley Air Force Museum Association is auctioning an Olympic hockey jersey to raise funds to build a display shelter for a vintage Vampire aircraft. Cassie Campbell Pascoe, a big supporter of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Comox Air Force Museum, signed the Jersey for the Museum. Cassie was Captain of the Women's Olympic Hockey team that won the Silver medal in Nagano in 1998, and the Gold medals at Salt Lake City in 2002 and again in Turin, Italy in 2006.
