Driving Up Island (NW) On the New Inland Island Highway 19

(from Nanaimo)

• Take Exit # 117 (remember: when in doubt follow the signs for CFB Comox. We are located at the main gate)

• Turn right off the exit ramp onto Comox Valley Parkway

• Follow Comox Valley Parkway/29th St until the T intersection (29th St and Cliffe Ave) with the lights

• Turn left at the lights onto Cliffe Ave

• Follow Cliffe Ave until 17th Street

• Turn Right at 17th Street

• Go over the 17th Street bridge

• There is a set of lights immediately over the bridge

• Turn left at the lights at the T intersection onto the Island Highway N

• Follow the Island Highway N past the Super Store on the right to the lights at Ryan Rd

• Turn right at Ryan Road

• Proceed down Ryan Road until you see the entrance to CFB Comox with the Voodoo on the pedestal on the left. We are the building with the big red sign "COMOX AIR FORCE MUSEUM".

• Turn right at Military Rd and then immediately left for parking.

• There is free parking in front of the Museum.

• The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
