Driving Up Island (NW) On the Old Island Highway 19A

(from Nanaimo)

• Highway 19A becomes Cliffe Ave as you enter Courtenay

• (remember: when in doubt follow the signs for CFB Comox. We are located at the main gate)

• Follow Cliffe Ave until 17th Street

• Turn Right at 17th Street

• Go over the 17th Street bridge

• There is a set of lights immediately over the bridge

• Turn left at the lights at the T intersection onto the Island Highway N

• Follow the Island Highway N past the Super Store on the right to the lights at Ryan Rd

• Turn right at Ryan Road

• Proceed down Ryan Road until you see the entrance to CFB Comox with the Voodo on the pedestal on the left. We are the building with the big red sign "COMOX AIR FORCE MUSEUM" on it.

• Turn right at Military Rd and then immediatley left for parking.

• There is free parking space out front.

• The Museum is wheelchair accessible.
