HOURS OF OPERATION Please Note: The Museum will be closed Tuesday, 12 January 2010 for renovations. Comox Air Force Museum: The Comox Air Force Museum is a major tourist attraction in the Comox Valley on Vancourver Island. It is listed as one of the top ten things to do on a rainy day. It is open to the Public Year Round, Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm daily. (Except Christmas, Boxing and New Year's Day) Admission is by Donation. Find Us Y2K Spitfire Project: The Y2K Spitfire restoration project is another major tourist attraction in the Comox Valley. Vintage Wings of Canada, in partnership with the Museum, will restore this Spitfire to flying condition. The hangar where it is being restored is open most Saturdays, 10 am - 3 pm. The Heritage Hangar is located 500 meters from the Museum. (Look for the sign and if you are coming only to see the Spitfire, please phone 250-339-8162 to confirm the Hangar is open) Heritage Air Park: Open May to September, Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm.
