MiG

At one time the mainstay of the Russian Air Force, the type served in a wide variety of mostly communist and Warsaw Pact air forces but also including India and various Middle East nations such as Egypt. Primarily manufactured in Russia, it was also produced in other nations including India and Czechoslovakia. Aircraft upgrade programs will keep the MIG 21 design flying well into the 21st century. The 19 Wing Museum example is a MIG 21 donated by the Czech Air Force.
